BIOS Update to meet requirements to Vista?
So I put Vista on my laptop a few weeks before Vista launched to the public. I got the Business edition copy through my school. Well HP has started putting up drivers/updates for the laptop. I was looking at one of the BIOS updates that I found interesting.
"Updates the BIOS to meet the requirements for a Microsoft Vista Premium Operating System Ready PC."

I wonder what had to be updated. I was running Vista for a few weeks and I met all the requirements. I'm still just waiting for a way to use my webcam. I can use my webcam in Flash objects, but nothing locally. If anyone knows how to use the webcam with Microsoft programs, let me know.

I have an hp dv9033cl that came loaded with media edition. I installed Vista on the 2nd hard drive but could not get the webcam to work, but it did work in media edition. I upgraded the bios and could not get the webcam to work until I ran services.msg, went down to the webcam and started it then changed it to automatic.
Trouble was that after I got it to work in Vista premium home, I have not been able to get it to work in media edition. Go figure.
