Test Post
This is my first post using Flock. I used Flock when it first came out public, but thought I'd give it another try.
I have no idea why I am doing this, but I'm going to try and document my time at grad school, minus the first semester as that is past.

...for me at least. Michigan State is no longer in the tournament, the bracket that I created is in the bottom of the barrel. I lost so many games today, and I had Wisconsin going to the finals. So I have only 8 teams left in the Sweet 16 and two of the games I have no teams in. Oh well, time to concentrate on other things.

Well I did not do as good today. I was 12 out of 16. My losses included: Miami (OH), Georgia Tech, Illinois, and Notre Dame. It sucks because three of the four games were lost in the last few seconds. Illinois could not score for the last 4 minutes of the game, Notre Dame came back after a 20 point deficit and could not finish it up, and Miami(OH) was close. All those losses were 2 points. Ugghh...So right now I have 25 out of 32 and 2 two teams out of the sweet 16. My new rankings are:
Overall Rank: 383,028 -
Friends: 3 out of 20 -
MSU: 4,192 -
LSSU: 115 -
Delta: 164 -
Saginaw/Bay City: 198 -
So I went down in every category. That sucks so bad. Ugghh..matter of few points from being on top to being low man. Let's see about tomorrow, although now without Ibok, it's going to be a different game for MSU, which I have going past North Carolina. Izzo is 6-0 in second round games. GO STATE!!!

That was the number right that I had in the first day of the brackets. I'm pretty surprised, it literally took me less than 5 minutes to fill out my bracket. I got the Duke, Stanford, and Texas Tech picks wrong. Bobby Knight's team let me down! I'm goofed with Stanford in the next round as I had them going to the Sweet 16. The only place that I did a bracket was at facebook. Here are some stats for Day 1:
Overall Rank: 210,766
Friends: 2 out of 20
MSU: 2,830
LSSU: 71
Delta: 98
Saginaw/Bay City: 114
I wonder how I will do on Day 2.

Just when I thought Hollywood could not suck any more, I find out they can. I was just browsing the web and noticed that they have remade the movie Hairspray. Not only that, but John Travolta is going to try and play Edna Turnblad. No one will be able to do a better job than Divine at Edna Turnblad. I can not believe the "big names" in the movie also: Queen Latifah, Christopher Walken (why!?!) and Michelle Pfeiffer.
It has not even been 20 years since the first movie. The movie industry wonders why not as many people are going and trying to blame it on piracy. If people to pirate the movies, it is because who wants to take the chance of seeing a crappy movie for $8. If Hollywood would concentrate on making quality films and not quantity films, maybe there would be a better product.
Thank goodness for Spider-Man and Saw. At least those two franchises should not disappoint.
